What triggers the guarantee

Every figure is traceable to a published source — Safe Work Australia, SHRM, Gallup, or Medibank Private. Not estimated. Cited.
If total identified exposure falls below 5×, your fee is reduced proportionally. If we miss significantly, the engagement fee is waived entirely.
What counts as "identified exposure"?
Any cost calculable from your headcount, average salary, and a published benchmark. Every category is shown with its source.
What if we're genuinely low-risk?
The diagnostic is effectively free. You receive full ISO 45003 alignment documentation and a clean bill of health at no net cost.
Is this guarantee in writing?

Your Diagnostic Report and Executive Board Deck are mapped directly against the 14 psychosocial hazard categories in ISO 45003:2021. If your HR or Risk team determines the mapping doesn't trace to the standard — you don't pay. The engagement fee is waived.

What triggers the guarantee

Hazard mapping cannot be traced to the standard's recognised risk categories (e.g. Workload, Role Clarity, Autonomy).
The report fails to provide a timestamped baseline across the ISO 45003 hazard categories.
What's in the Alignment Pack?
Aggregated scores across all 14 ISO 45003 hazard categories, with explicit hazard-to-framework mapping. Timestamped and securely delivered.
Does this count as certification?
No — Daylight assesses alignment, not formal certification. No tool can legally certify a workplace. This is the good-faith baseline documentation that demonstrates proactive risk management.

No individual response is ever attributable. Data is processed at group level only — it is structurally impossible to identify how any individual responded. A Data Processing Agreement is signed before the survey launches, committing this in writing. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. All data is retained securely for seven (7) years to support auditing and compliance, then permanently deleted.

From the moment you receive your Financial Snapshot. If the total identified exposure across all five cost categories is less than 5× our engagement fee, the fee is reduced proportionally or waived entirely. You simply don't pay.
What's the time window to make a claim?
14 days from receipt of your deliverables for the financial guarantee. 14 days for the methodology guarantee. Fee waivers are confirmed within 5 business days — no exceptions. You don't need to justify the claim, just make it.
Can we use the findings as evidence of proactive risk management?
Your Alignment Pack provides timestamped documentation of proactive hazard identification and assessment — but it is not a legal opinion or certification. For any formal proceedings, we recommend your counsel review the documentation independently. Our guarantee covers the methodology and ISO 45003 alignment of the deliverables.
Can we share the guarantee terms with our CFO before engaging?
Absolutely — that's the point. The guarantee terms are included in your engagement letter. You can also request a draft copy of the letter before signing anything. We encourage your CFO and HR leadership to review it. The more scrutiny it receives, the more confident they'll be.
The only things not covered
The guarantees do not cover outcomes resulting from deliberately incomplete or misleading information provided during the scoping call, participation rates below 60% caused by the client failing to deploy the communications pack, or requests to guarantee specific regulatory outcomes (e.g. "we won't be prosecuted"). We guarantee the quality and methodology of our deliverables — not the behaviour of external regulators.
